(Seriously, I read a 'true' ghost story when I was about... ten, I think, of a man who stayed in a haunted castle so he could write a magazine story about it, the chump. Anyway, after a bunch of spooky things happening, he went to bed and fell asleep only to wake up when he heard a SCREAM and saw a blood-dripping, severed head hovering above his bed! Apparently he ran all the way out of the castle... I've been scared of things looming at me from the darkness ever since. Finding out about Jeff the Killer et al didn't help.)
